Our plaster was so rough the kids were getting scraped feet. They chipped it back to the gunite, redid the waterline tile in glass mosaic, and put in a pebble finish. Then they actually came back and walked us through the 28-day brushing instead of just handing us a sheet of paper.
Got three quotes for a remodel and these were the only ones who explained why the tile kept popping off. Turned out to be the expansion joint, not the tile. They fixed the joint first. Two years later nothing has moved.
Pump died the first week of July, which is apparently the law. They found a variable-speed replacement, had it in the next morning, and my electric bill went down enough that I noticed. No upsell on anything else.
They filled in our deep end to turn a diving pool into a sport pool, added a tanning ledge and redid the deck in travertine. In August you can walk on it barefoot, which was the whole point. Timeline slipped a week for rain and they told us before we had to ask.
Half an inch a day disappearing and two other companies wanted to break up the deck to look for it. These guys pressure tested each line, found the skimmer connection, and repaired it from the equipment side. Deck never got touched.
